The amazing benefits of drinking coffee



We all love our cup of coffee, but are you aware of some of the many other potential benefits it can bring to your life?

According to studies, coffee drinkers are happy at work, do not get depressed, have less stress and suffer less colon cancer, arthritis and diabetes. It has also shown that coffee is safe to drink during pregnancy and is even healthier to drink than black tea.

While it is understood that the use of any product in large quantities is potentially harmful, research has shown that drinking five cups of coffee a day is not a general health problem.

Harvard Medical School studies have shown that skin cancer is reduced among coffee drinkers. The risk is reduced by 20% in women and 10% in men if they consume more than three cups a day on average. It has also been independently shown that coffee may reduce the risk of liver cirrhosis, colon cancer and gallstones.

A popular television news recently reported that consumption of black coffee is a healthier alternative to black tea. According to an interview with Chris Kilham, founder of Hunter physicians in the U.S., coffee contains special antioxidants called flavonoids that can help with cardiovascular problems and help reduce heart attacks and strokes.

Fight Depression - A long-term study by the Harvard School of Public Health found that women who consumed four or more cups of coffee a day were 20% less likely to suffer from depression than those who only had one cup per day . Those who consume less, but still two or three cups still showed a reduction of 15% to show signs of depression. This extensive research was conducted over a decade of study.

It is now believed that consumption of coffee before exercise can improve performance. This is according to Dr. Pamela Peeke on Discovery Health TV. She says that consumption of coffee can improve performance in both short bodies and long term physical activity.

Coffee consumption during pregnancy also appears to be safe for mother and baby. According to Chris Kilham, again speaking on Fox News, coffee consumption does not appear to increase the chances of a miscarriage.
