Natalie portman wins best Screem fantasy actress and Harry potter and the deathly Hallows part-2 as Ultimate scream



On October 15, 2011, the sixth annual Scream Awards has been held in Los Angeles. The awards program was dedicated to horror, fantasy and sci-fi film genres. The Ultimate Scream Award went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, which won more trophies than any other nominee.

Natalie Portman, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Radcliffe and Ralph Fiennes were among those who picked up gongs at the 2011 Scream Awards. Portman as fantasy actress won for her turn in Black Swan, Radcliffe for his role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, and Jackman for a cameo in X-Men: First Class(best fantasy movie). Fiennes clinched a ‘Best Villain’ award for his portrayal of Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter. Black Swan also took a few prizes, including awards for Darren Aronofsky as Best Director and star  Mila Kunis, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. Bradley Cooper was still smiling from his date with Jennifer Lopez while accepting a statue for Limitless(best thriller), and newcomer ChloĆ« Moretz was triumphant in best horror actress for her haunting role in Let Me In.

It was a big night for fan favourite True Blood, who scored top billing in the best ensemble category with hunks Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgard taking home individual trophies. Colin Farrell presented Robert Downey Jr. with the hero award, and The Dark Knight Rises(Most Anticipated Scream) cast Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt took a break from filming to accept the most anticipated movie statue. Other hot actors and actresses handed out awards including Zoe Saldana, Kate Beckinsale, and Dylan Mcdermott while Nicolas Cage made a grand entrance to debut an exclusive world premiere clip of his upcoming sequel Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance.
