Melissa Gorga Wears A Fat Suit To Teach Us About Being Fat Or Something

New Jersey Housewife Melissa Gorga hit Times Square this afternoon in a fat suit. I know, that was a really weird sentence, right? After an emotional Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion last night, Melissa didn't waste any time pushing herself back into the limelight by waddling around New York City today in a 400lb body transformation. Now, you're probably asking, "Why the fuck...?' and yeah, pretty much. Apparently, Mrs. "On Display" is working with Entertainment Tonight to expose weight discrimination by wearing an offensively large fat suit and walking around eating hot dogs, waiting for people to be mean to her. Now okay, is weight discrimination real? Most definitely. Is it a little insulting for a 115-pound ex-stripper to go on a poor man's E! News and tell us about it? Kinda.

I guess any attention to the cause is better than nothing, but I can't imagine that Melissa is going to be bringing the hard-hitting journalism here. Based on this teaser from ET, the biggest problem she has is bending over to tie her shoes. She is "literally out of breath." Um. Yeah. I genuinely believe she means well - no seriously, I think Melissa Gorga is actually a little too dumb to understand the social ramifications of a thin, beautiful woman wearing a "fat suit" in order to enlighten us - but man, this is...not her best move.
