Maybe it's his slow, soft way of speaking. Maybe it's his up-close-to-the-camera earnest expression. Maybe it's because he says stuff about how he wants to marry her, like, "We'd laugh all day long and go camping and play Yahtzee and tell ghost stories by the fire. And the sex?"And then he trails off in the ickiest "dot dot dot" ever.
I know Jim Carrey has made some stupid penguin-related decisions lately, but he is actually a comedy genius, so I'm hoping this is all a joke, played with excellent delivery. He's capable of it. Then again, he's reaching 50 and Emma Stone is really kind of hot. So maybe he's restraining order serious. You be the judge.
