Bad Girls Looking Good
Will The real bitch please stand up
Two annoying bitches bared their claws, clicked their fangs and went at it. Omarosa (she doesn't deserve me typing her full name) went on the Wendy Williams show and acted like a bitch.
She's actually plugging a book called The Bitch Switch. And acting it out in an obvious way. At least the Celebrity Apprentice goblin has some sort of job.
The two of them traded insults after Wendy put forth the opinion that Omarosa acts like the stereotypical angry black woman. Opinions about wigs and wrinkles were put forth as two black women got angry.

The 6th Annual Postpartum Depression 5K Walk/Run in Charleston, SC is coming up in September
The Ruth Rhoden Craven Foundation for Postpartum Depression Awareness is holding its 6th Annual Postpartum Depression 5K Walk/Run at 8:00 am on Saturday, September 13th, in Hampton Park, located in Charleston, South Carolina.
Even though September may sound like a ways off, it will be here before we know it, and online registration for this wonderful event has already started.
Helena Bradford established the foundation in honor of her daughter, Ruth Rhoden Craven, who suffered horribly from PPD. Here's a bit about Ruth from the foundation's web site:
"Ruth Craven was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and friend who suffered from postpartum depression following the birth of her first child. This illness took a stable, positive, and happy young woman and turned her into a weakened, helpless, lost soul. On December 5, 1999, two and a half months after the birth of her son, Ruth could take the pain and anguish of PPD no more and ended her life."
Ruth's mom, Helena, is an absolutely incredible woman. I've had the honor of getting to know her via phone and email, and think the world of what she is doing to help spread awareness of PPD in her daughter's memory. Please consider taking part in her foundation's 5K fundraiser, or simply make a tax deductible donation to take part in spreading PPD awareness and education through this wonderful foundation.

Holyywood here she comes
The New York Goes to Hollywood pre-series web episodes are here! In them, cast members of I Love Money and other …of Love alumna give their thoughts on New York’s upcoming show (which hits VH1 August 4). Their thoughts are followed by clips of the series. The one above features Heat, Real, Midget Mac, Chance, Hoopz and, of course, New York…in a Japanese commercial. Acting. And chopping! And cursing at people. The only thing out of the ordinary is the Geisha-girl get-up.
Make sure to catch all the pre-series spots: each contain different clips of the show and one of them gives some clue to her status with Tailor Made.
And remember: keep your eyes open for more New York Goes to Hollywood pre-series treats!

2008 Update
Having given up ambitions of a career in medicine to live on disability benefits for the last decade, I was so excited to be in remission and starting a new job in June 2004. My dreams were defered again by a very sudden and aggressive attack that shut down my pancreas and liver. I narrowly escaped death. I contribute my survival to my faith in God and his grace to allow me to live in order to to raise my teenage son, who has no one but me.Once the crisis was over, I was completely paralized by the muscle atrophy of weeks of immobility in the hospital bed. Once home I quickly rid myself of walker and potty feeling euphoric from the high doses of IV steroids. Before the completion of a 6-month course of chemotherapy Cytoxin, I developed shingles in two quadrants of my face and relentless neuropathic pain. The side-effect of swollen feet kept me out of shoes and caused DVTs in both legs to be dangerously overlooked. Before I could rid myself of the home nurse and port-a-cath, I was back in ICU with septiciemia. The next year, 2005, still physically rehabilitating at home, God blessed me to begin online classes for an Web Development Diploma with funding from Vocational Rehabilitation! After the second quarter I began a significant neurological decline. Besides the usual brief staring spells. mild tremers and slurred speech, I began to have severe seizures or mini-strokes. My thought processes and mobility were so severely impaired I had to give up school and most everyday tasks. In the midst of desparately seeking treatment from neurologists, I was diagnosed with a golf-ball sized kidney stone, August 2006. Because of my blood-clotting disorder, a quick removal by lathroscopic surgery was canceled, opting for a safer removal by lithotripsy, taking five months of blasting to break it down. No local neurologists or psychiatrists have provided a successful pharmaceautical approach to my neurological symptoms. In fact I suffered new symptoms and side-effects from the multitude of pills I was popping last year. With the support of my wonderful primary care physician, I opted to "detox" from all the unproductive medicines, seek nutrition, alternative therapies, assistive devices to improve and manage with the current symptoms. I'm not cured but I am stable and hopeful. I am relieved to give up the desparate quest to be cured by either doctors or preachers. I am trying to accept where I am, because I now realize that where I am is where God has placed me and I am trying not to question it. As I immerse myself in His Word, I surrender my will to His. As I seek to heal my spirit, I seek less to heal my body.

PPD Hope offers a hotline available 24/7!
For women who are suffering from postpartum depression and need help now, there is a great hotline that I found at PPD Hope. The number is: (877) PPD-HOPE, or (877) 773-4673. I called it myself late last night just to check it out and make sure that a live person answers. Sure enough, a woman answered the line and confirmed that a live person answers 24 hours every day. You have options to receive free literature on PPD and/or get in touch with their peer support program.
The PPD Hope web site also offers a PPD screening test that you can take on the site so you can quickly and easily find out if you might need medical assistance or counseling.
I think this is a fabulous resource, so I want to help spread the word. PPD Hope was created by the Family Mental Health Institute (FMHI), a non-profit based in Washington, DC. The FMHI is working to make postpartum depression screening a universal standard of care across the U.S. Federal legislation is in the works, however currently this issue is left in the hands of individual states. Hopefully one day in the near future, every new mom will be screened for PPD before she leaves the hospital with her new baby.

Montag NONSTOP
A week after her song "Fashion" hit the Internet, Hills star Heidi Montag has released another song.
Listen to "One More Drink" above.
Montag recently revealed she wants to record a Christian album.
"I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God," she told USA Today.
Daisy Speaks
Daisy continues to tease us with suggestions that she’s still banging Bret (”If we run into each other in the bathroom at a club, we could be together for two minutes!”). Even more juicy is her commentary on Dave Navarro, with whom she’s been spotted a few times in public recently. “We are truly becoming amazing friends,” she says. “I heart him.” But does she heart him heart him?

A Taste Of NY
If you haven’t caught the on-iar promos for New York Goes to Hollywood (premiering August 4 on VH1), you’re in luck: you can watch them above. As in the promo shots for the series, these brief spots find New York hamming it up as classic Hollywood personalities. She’s Dorothy, she’s Marilyn and in a spot that wasn’t used for the still shots, she’s Forrest Gump. That commercial’s actually the best, as New York proclaims, “My mama always said that life is like a box of chocolates…come to find out, that’s the stupidest s*** I ever heard in my life.” Anyone who can find a way to dis Forrest Gump and Sister Patterson in the same sentence clearly has a gift for language. New York, we’re ready to fall in love with you all over again.
Christina Glams it up
GLAMOUR: You're obviously back into fighting shape, so let's discuss this workout of yours: boxing, running backward on a treadmill while going uphill, crunches, weights, pull-ups--it sounds brutal.
CHRISTINA AGUILERA: [Laughs.] I hate working out--I have to mentally push myself through it. I can get very whiny, saying things like, "I can't do it!"
GLAMOUR: Does your trainer crack the whip when you get like that?
CA: No--I can't deal with having someone barking at me. Mean training is not motivating to me at all; I like to be comforted [through my workout]. All my trainer has to do is say nicely, "I want you to do 200 bicycles; go right through it and don't stop." Then I'll know she's serious and I'll do it. I started out not being able to do man push-ups; pull-ups were a big one too. Now I can do five in a row.
GLAMOUR: You look great, Christina. How quickly did you notice a change in your body?
CA: Being the perfectionist that I am, my attitude was, this had better hurry up--I want results! My trainer kept saying, "Give it time, you're looking great." Everyone around me was saying they could see a difference, but, you know, you're hardest on yourself. I did see my stomach get flatter and tighter and more muscle definition.
GLAMOUR: What did you like the least about your postbaby body and what did you like the most?
CA: Well, I was OK with the booty and the boobs! [Laughs.] My stomach was really where I carried my weight. Toward the end of my pregnancy, I felt really big--I gained about 40 pounds, which is a lot for my size. My hips also changed significantly. And my feet grew from a size 5 to a size 7 in flats--thank God they [went back to normal]. I would have been so depressed if I had to get rid of my shoe collection!
GLAMOUR: Let's talk about your new album: Can we expect to see you reinvent yourself as you did for Back to Basics?
CA: I just started recording it, but I can tell you that this record is all about fun. I'll be referencing Pop Art, Andy Warhol's art. So it will [sound] fun and fast-paced, and visually, it will be full of color, which is how it's going to tie in with my new fragrance, Inspire [in stores next month]
Brenda Walsh Graduates
This makes me want to pull out my West Beverly yearbook and remember the time that Brenda talked Emily Valentine from burning down the float! Or when Brenda told Kelly and Dylan to f*ck off out of her life! This is amazing! Shannen Doherty is in talks to appear on the 90210 sequel!
Shannen, smart as a whip and totally aware of her how valuable she is to this venture, is reportedly holding out for more money and to see what the story is going to be.
All the story needs to be is her calling Jennie Garth a whore.
Even Kelly Taylor realizes that this dumbass sequel needs some Brenda Walsh bitchery in the mix. Despite the fact that these two were like cats and dogs back in the day, Garth is accepting of Brenda's shrill ass being back in the mix.
"A lot of time has passed, and I'm a big girl. I'd have no problem with her coming on the show," she says.
When is this on? I'm camping out.
Tila gets the boot
Tila Tequila felt confident going into the finale that she had found someone that she “wanted to spend the rest of her life with.” That “someone” was Kristy. After Tila eliminated Bo, she offered Kristy the key to her heart. But Kristy wasn’t interested in unlocking it. “I’m not ready for this,” said Kristy, who had been privately questioning whether she wanted to be with a man or a woman after a whole season of practically begging to get inside Tila’s pants.
