It's official: I've lost all faith in love. Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband Kris Humprhies. For those of you not keeping track, the wedding lasted a whopping 72 days before it tanked. So much for the "Royal Wedding of America," huh?
Kim, who earned $17,900,000 for the wedding, has cited the usual irreconcilable differences, which I suppose means that the check cleared. If you're looking for a statistic that might make you suicidal, that averages at $10,358/hour. Rumors that Kris Humphries was moving boxes sans wedding ring from their place recently surfaced and the couple have been seen together less and less as the weeks passed. I have to say "weeks," because literally they were only together for like 10 weeks. I guess fairy tales don't exist after all! Dramatic sigh! Sniffle!
Kardashian has yet to make an official statement, but I imagine it will go something like, "HAHAHAHA SUCKERS! CHA-CHING!!"

Kim: "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
Kris: "I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."
