Kate Winslet and her kids have escaped from fire cause from lightning on a house.

"Titanic" and "The Reader" actress Kate Winslet and her two children, Mia 10 and Joe, have narrowly escaped from fire in the morning today (August 22) caused by lightning of wind storm in Virgin Group mogul Richard Barnson's private island residence in the British Virgin Island. They along with 17 other gusts were their for enjoying the vacation (kate, her children and her boyfriend as personal guest of Branson) in Branson's palace like house having eight-giant-bedrooms with balcony and en-bathroom for each. In a film like style Winslet and Branson's 25 years old son Sam helped other including Branson's 90 years old mother, Eve, to escape the fire caused as the tropical storm Irene is currently tearing across the Caribbean.

Branson himself was in another house with his wife Joan and son Sam. Branson said to The Telegraph, "My mum is 90 and can walk, but it was more just to speed the process up than anything else. But anyway, she (kate) was great. She swept her up into her arms and got them out of the house as fast as possible."

The 35 year-old Oscar winning actress said,"it's like being in a film set where you're waiting for the words 'cut' but they just don't come." The "Titanic" Rose once escaped from Ice in the film but really escaped from Fire.
