Despite this, Leighton has obviously done pretty well for herself, though the same cannot be said for her mom.

Well, it turns out Leighton’s useless mother still refuses to get a real job and her little brother is sick. Naturally, since Leighton is not a tremendous asshole, she has been sending money to her mother to help care for her sick brother. Instead, Useless Mama Meester got hair extensions, plastic surgery and Botox. I repeat: with the money to care for her sick child, she got Botox. Gross.
There’s a lot more to it. Her mom swears that they had an “oral contract” stating that Leighton was required to pay her $10,000 a month for life. An idiot could figure out that’s a load of shit, but hey. I just think it’s sad. I am a very firm believer that you shouldn’t be held responsible for your parents’ mistakes and Leighton is clearly suffering for them – not to mention her little bro. Despite this, she’s still trying to help. So, Constance Meetser, you win the Grossest Mom Ever award, congrats.
