British girl group, the Sugababes are back and getting ready to release their eight studio album later this year. It’s been over a year since they released the poorly reviewed "Sweet 7." The girls have teamed up with Nokia to premiere the group's much-anticipated comeback single "Freedom" in their new N8 Pink ad. Nicole Catherine "Snooki" Polizzi, 23 years old Chilean-American reality television personality and her co-star Deena Nicole Cortese narrowly escaped injury and punishment from a car crash in Florence, Italy. They are there for the filming the fourth season of the hit MTV reality show "Jersey Shore" with her housemates Deena. After the accident they were taken to custody but the police did not arrest them formally as no one is injured and found no involvement of alcohol. SallyAnn Salsano, executive producer at “Jersey Shore” production company 495, tells The Star-Ledger newspaper that the incident was “just a minor fender bender.” She says the show is still filming.
The crash reportedly wedged Snooki's vehicle between a police car and a highway protection wall. Co-star Deena was a passenger at the time of the accident and had to exit the car by climbing out a window because her door was blocked by a wall. Unlike this time, she was fined $500 and sentenced to community service in September 2010 for being drunk in public, creating public nuisance and annoying people in New Jersey beach.
Nicole Polizzi appeared on the MTV reality show Jersey Shore (about the lives of eight housemates spending their summer at the Jersey Shore) starting on December 9, 2009. Season 1 and 3 of the show were cast in New Jersey Shore. The Season 2 was set in Miami Beach and Season 4 which is going on is in Florence, Italy.

Jeffrey Charles William Michael Conaway, Popularly known as Jeff Conaway was an American actor died on May 27, 2011 from pneumonia with sepsis after a coma in a hospital in Encino, California. He became and is still widely celebrated for his roles in the movie Grease and the U.S. television series Taxi and Babylon 5.

He endured a long battle with drugs and alcohol addiction before he died on Friday. He knew what drug is and that is why he has publicly battled addiction and appeared on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" series in 2008, when he admitted his addiction to cocaine, alcohol and painkillers and talked about his sexual abuse as a child and his co-dependent relationship with his then-girlfriend Vikki Lizzi.
When Conaway was found unconscious in his home earlier this month, his manager released a statement saying Conaway had likely overdosed on drugs. The actor's history of substance abuse has seen heavy publicity in recent years from Conaway's stints on Celebrity Fit Club and Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew. Drew himself, however, said there is no evidence that Conaway died from an overdose.
His manager, Phil Brock said, "He was the consummate performer and entertainer," said Brock. "We're thankful his struggles are over, but we know he will be missed by legions of fans worldwide." Conaway began his performing career on the stage. He was in the Broadway production of Grease for two years, in the lead role of Danny Zuko. He switched to TV, landing a part on Happy Days and then the movie version of Grease (although Travolta played Danny on screen). Conaway also had a long running role in the TV sitcom, Taxi.

Conaway was born in October 5, 1950 in New York City, New York, U.S. He had been with the media since he was child (1960). Overall he stared in as many as 45 movies and also stared in almost the same amount of shows and serials in TV. He directed the 1992 film Bikini Summer II.
He has no children from his two wifes- Rona Newton-John (m. 1980-1985, divorced) and Keri Young (m. 1990-?, divorced). Emerson Newton-John, who is racer, is his stepson.

ABC's Bachelor franchise honcho Mike Fleiss explained their choice Ashley Hebert to EW.com:
"I don't know, she's kind of cool, she's spunky and she's got a lot personality. It's also the first time we had an actual professional woman as a bachelorette. She's not a party planner, she's a dentist!" He continued: "That's a good step for us. I think it's a cool good lesson for young ladies out there to see an accomplished woman still struggling to put the personal side of her life together. That's something a lot of women can relate to. She will be a different kind of bachelorette!"
In an interview with Us Weekly, Hebert said that she is very active to keep her body in a perfect shape. She shimmies, she "just doesn't sweat to keep her petite physique in shape". "I teach jazz, ballet, and hip-hop at my college", the 5-foot-2 star tells Us Weekly of her go-to workouts. "I feel confident when I'm dancing."
She is full of ego too and says of her time on The Bachelor, "Having all those beautiful women around was more pressure and there were some really hot bodies! This time, I felt better." She will be seen in some sky-high hemlines on The Bachelorette (ABC, Mondays at 8 p.m.). "I like to wear short things," she says.
Ashley, 26, who was born in Madawaska, Maine but currently resides in Philadelphia, where she is finishing her degree in dentistry in a dental school at the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
She is a trained dancer and former pageant queen — she was Maine’s Junior Miss in 2002 — Ashley Hebert majored in biology at the University of Maine before moving on to attend dental school at the University of Pennsylvania. She will complete her graduation this May with her DMD and a 3.96 GPA.

The trailer"The Tree of Life," by Terrence Malick has recently been released after winning the top prize Palme d'Or 2011 at Cannes. In it Brad Pitt plays a stern 1950s father of six. The reporters are not late to know about his real life parenting skills with Angelina Jolie and six children. In response he confesses that he is not perfect in real life, either.
"Not [like I'm] a horrible parent, but I've certainly made mistakes and had to make up for it," he tells People. "I'm painfully aware that my actions leave a double mark on them in these formidable years, so I make sure I don't bring my crap home." When it comes to the projects he takes on, Pitt tells The Washington Post that his kids have led him to think twice about the direction of his career.
"I think I spent more time jacking around a little bit," he explains of his early roles. "I was more attuned to irreverence and not doing what I was supposed to be doing." Now, each film hold a little more weight. "I'm conscious that my kids are going to grow up and see these films someday, and I want them to mean something," he explains.

lost veterans to thank for this. When combining
sports and military veterans, we tend to remember
guys like Pat Tillman, and even Ted Williams, but
there are other like Yogi Berra who served in the
Navy, and Roger Staubach who served in the Vietnam
War. Even Joe DiMaggio served in the Air Force in
the 40's, but it's the non athlete, non famous,
non star that is just as responsible for our good
fortune and freedom this weekend and every day.
So let's not forget that.

Devastated Cheryl Cole is said to have refused ITV’s £2.5million offer to return to the UK X Factor, by not taking calls from show bosses before her deadline last night.
And a friend of the singer revealed she said of Cowell: ‘I’ve been used. Why put me through it? It’s cruel’, after being axed from the US version.
The 27-year-old is apparently distraught and still refusing to talk out other offers, while she has been holed up in a London flat with her mother Joan.Cheryl’s deadline to decide whether to return to the UK X Factor was midnight last night, but as she apparently ignored Simon Cowell’s attempts to contact her, and has consequently blown her chance to return.
Filming will now commence on Wednesday sans Cole, according to the News of the World.

Although I completely agree that those two
names do not belong in the same sentence,
I will do this only for the purpose of this
blog post.
Braylon Edwards followed up on a promise he
made, and it was a great thing to not only
keep this promise, but to make this promise,
in the first place. I know I trash him when
he screws up, so he deserves praise when he
does the good stuff too. He made a promise
to help 100 Cleveland area kids with their
college tuition when he was with the Cleveland
Browns, and he kept that promise +1 and is going
to help 101 kids in Cleveland in total. Props to
Yahoo sports for recognizing this story and
making sure it got written.
Leave it to the NY Post to recognize that the
man that takes care of Vince Lombardi's grave
is a Jet fan. So What ! What's important here
is that it's being neglected at all, and that
maybe the people making money off the
Broadway play should dish out a couple of
dollars to make sure that this legendary figure
gets his rightful respect. I would bash the
league that names their Championship Trophy
after him, but right now they're a little tight
on money. It's really a good thing he isn't here
to see that even his own family drop this ball as
well. Maybe they need a little coaching.

I know there are some among you that think
this might be worth considering, and if you
are among them, then I'm sorry, but eliminating
the collision with the catcher at home plate
because some star catcher got hurt is just
plain STUPID. Yes, I know that sounds harsh,
and maybe even offensive, but you can't go
overreacting every time someone gets hurt on
a play that occurs hundreds of times.
If that was just some everyday non star,
no one would have cared past the high light
piece. It's only a big deal because he's
now worth millions to the SF Giants.
Maybe they should have done with Posey the
same thing the Washington Nationals did with
their big investment Bryce Harper and move
him to the outfield once they ponied up the
big bucks. Just don't forget that he could
still get really hurt running into the outfield
wall, and then they would have to consider
removing those as well.

Again Lindsay Lohan is undergoing a sentence and this time she has to serve for four months under house arrest for a probation violation and jewelry theft conviction. She has to wear an ankle monitor for 35 days and can't go out if not allowed by the court. Before that on May 26, 2011she went to women's jail and was transfered quickly to her house for aforesaid sentence. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said that the "Mean Girls" star is paying for the costs of her monitoring.Stephanie Sautner, supetrior court judge, sentenced Lohan to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service in April after determining the actress took a necklace without permission from a store near her home. The judge said at a hearing that if Lohan served time under house arrest, she could not leave to whittle down her community service hours at a women's shelter and the county morgue.

Lohan pleaded no contest earlier this month to misdemeanor grand theft but did not receive additional jail time. The jail term was imposed after Sautner determined Lohan violated her probation in a 2007 drunken driving case. Whitmore said the actress was cooperative when she turned herself in, and it took about an hour for her to be fingerprinted and booked. No new mugshot was taken. The actress has been scheduled to appear as the wife of John Gotti Jr. in a biopic of the infamous New York mob family. Shooting will begin later this year.
In reply to a question, Steve Honig, a spokesman for the film, "Gotti: Three Generations" commented nothing. They are also observing the situation closely and take decision about what to say or do. Lohan's realization recently can't help her enough to change her life as quickly as she wants or expects to do.

Lawyer denied Schwarzenegger's abuse of state funds:
Mr. Ex Universe Arnold Schwarzenegger's lawyer on May 25, 2011 turned down the rumors that the former California governor used state funds to conceal his extramarital abuse. This 63 years actor's prosecutor, Marty Singer claims that his client used members of the California Highway Patrol to "to ferry scantily clad women in and out of his [hotel] suite" were "completely false." He said that media is highlighting what is not actually happened. He added "Unfortunately, the media's relentless desire for new information has some outlets running stories that are made up by paying sources that have zero credibility."
"My client stated from the beginning that he takes full responsibility for his actions and deserves the public and media criticism. This does not entitle some in the media to be totally irresponsible," the lawyer added, referring to the recent revelations, in the wake of Schwarzenegger's split with wife Maria Shriver, that the movie star turned politician had fathered a lovechild with housekeeper Mildred Patty Baena.
Two former California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers also spoke out Wednesday, denying they helped the former California governor cover up his love affairs. "I can say without a shadow of a doubt as a supervisor of his protective detail that at no time did I see Governor Schwarzenegger say or do anything that could be deemed inappropriate," retired CHP Sergeant Mark Hammond, who worked for Schwarzenegger for seven years, told TMZ.
