Jennifer Lopez went to today’s Ellen Show to promote her upcoming Love? album, and of course the conversation turned to the singer’s major slip up at the American Music Awards. Lopez said that she was “messed up” from her fall while performing “Louboutins” in front of the celebrity-filled crowd. She also added that she had a “bruised bone,” but didn’t name which one.
Here’s how it all went down, according to Lopez. "One of the dancer's backs was slippery from sweat and lights and everything," she explained. "We never bargained for that, because they always had t-shirts on in rehearsal. So they were barebacked, didn't have shirts on for the performance and when I stepped on their backs my feet got wet. So when I landed it just slipped from under me."
Before J Lo got up to perform her single on Ellen Degeneres’s stage, the comedian handed her a cushion, knee pad and a helmet. "I'm going to try my hardest not to fall on my *ss,” Lopez said.
"I don't want to see that. It will hurt me,” Degeneres said.
Jennifer replied, “It will hurt me more.”
