Madonna’s new album is called Hard Candy (Yes, just like the 2005 movie starring Oscar nominee Ellen Page, Sandra Oh and Patrick Wilson).
Her rep, Liz Rosenberg, tells that Madonna chose to stick with the sweet theme because “she loves candy. It’s about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness, or as Madonna so eloquently expressed ‘I’m gonna kick your ass, but it’s going to make you feel good.’”
